Join the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as an International Consultant for the Vanishing Treasures project in beautiful Vienna, Austria! 🌍🐾 In this role, you’ll coordinate vital milestones and activities focused on mountain biodiversity, including organizing workshops, analyzing data, and consulting with partners. You’ll also contribute to the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and support ecosystem restoration efforts by developing innovative project concepts and funding proposals. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in mountain biodiversity. Proficiency in English is essential, and experience in the Asia-Pacific region is desirable. 🌱✨
