National Consultant – Technical Support for Crime Prevention & Justice Interventions under PLEAD II, Kenya
Job Description
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking a consultant to support the advancement of crime prevention and criminal justice initiatives under the PLEAD II project in Nairobi, Kenya. The role involves conducting comprehensive literature reviews on areas like child labor, probation service digitalization, and the care of children with imprisoned parents, as well as producing outcome reports from Technical Working Group sessions. The consultant will also lead efforts in policy development and capacity building for institutions including the Directorate of Children Services and the Probation and Aftercare Services. With an assignment duration from August 25, 2025, to March 31, 2026, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to enhancing justice sector performance and access to legal aid for vulnerable populations. 🌍🤝📝
