Job Description

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a qualified consultant for the role of inventory development and action planning for the collection and disposal of controlled substances in Paraguay. This position, which is remote and will last for 11 months, focuses on strengthening Paraguay’s technical capacities to manage used or unwanted controlled substances in line with global standards. The selected candidate will coordinate with government, private sector, and civil society to create an inventory and a comprehensive action plan that includes recycling and environmentally friendly disposal methods. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, particularly with multilateral environmental agreements. Fluency in Spanish is required, and knowledge of English is highly desirable. 🌍♻️
