Job Description

As a Part-Time Chinese Language Teacher for the Language and Communications Training Unit (LCTU), your mission will be to promote multilingualism and enhance staff’s Chinese language skills. 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫. From New York or remotely, you’ll create and deliver engaging lessons, offer feedback, grade assignments and track student progress 🗓️. Our contract fits the language learning calendar, with a total duration of up to 9 work months within any 12-consecutive month period. Project work in language skill development could also be a part of your role! Plus, there’s chance to flex your innovation muscles in course and material design 🖥️📚. We’re looking for individuals with an advanced degree in a language-related field and at least five years experience teaching Chinese as a foreign or second language to adults.
