Job Description

The United Nations is looking for a professional to contribute to the creation of the Passive Cooling Guidelines, focusing on the design, operation, and implementation of passive cooling strategies for hot and tropical environments. This role is home-based and spans five months, requiring the consultant to collaborate closely with the UNEP/Cool Coalition and the Passive Cooling Working Group. The guidelines will aid policymakers in updating building energy codes and provide essential support to design professionals to enhance energy efficiency and thermal comfort. Candidates should possess an advanced degree in architecture, engineering, or building physics, along with at least two years of relevant experience, particularly in passive cooling or sustainable building practices. Fluency in English is a must. 🌍🏡📚
