As a Political Affairs Officer, you will play a key role in the United Nations Operations and Crisis Centre (UNOCC), specifically within the Research and Liaison Unit. Your responsibilities will include managing the unit, conducting in-depth analyses of political and security events, and providing crucial insights to assist senior UN leadership in decision-making. You will prepare analytical reports, support peacekeeping operations, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the UN and other organizations to ensure effective crisis management and integrated analysis. To be successful, you should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, backed by at least seven years of relevant experience and an advanced degree in a related field.
