Job Description
The Political Affairs Officer will be part of the Middle East Division in New York, reporting to the Gulf Team Leader and supporting the Directors. This role involves analyzing and monitoring political developments in Yemen and the Gulf region, providing strategic advice to senior officials, and managing data for informed decision-making. You’ll engage with various UN sectors and external partners, participate in missions, and prepare essential documents for meetings. A master’s in political science or similar, alongside at least five years of relevant experience, particularly in the realm of peace and security issues in Yemen, is essential.
