Programme Analyst

Job Description

The Programme Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of UN-Habitat projects in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, reporting directly to the Head of the Brazil Office and OiC for Southern Cone Office. 🌍 This position involves close collaboration with various governmental and local partners to promote sustainable urban development and improve living conditions in communities, especially in vulnerable areas. The successful candidate will provide technical and managerial support, ensuring that projects meet their objectives and deadlines, while also engaging in data management, public policy advocacy, and capacity building. A minimum of six years of relevant experience is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and challenging environment. Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, and a solid understanding of project management is desirable. 💼 Travel within the country may be necessary, and the engagement is for seven months. The position also offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in urban development.
