Programme Management Intern: Supporting the implementation of the non-staff capacities of the different programmes in the UNOCT Office in Madrid

Job Description

The United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) is looking for enthusiastic interns for a flexible 3-6 month full-time (35 hours/week) internship starting around May 12, 2025, in Madrid 🌍. This unpaid role offers a chance to engage with programmes on Sports and Security and Vulnerable Targets Protection, where you will support various tasks like drafting reports, summarizing meetings, conducting research, and helping organize events 🤝. Ideal candidates should be students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programs) passionate about UN values, possess strong communication skills in English (additional languages like French or Russian are a plus), and demonstrate cultural sensitivity 🌈. Note that all applicants must adhere to UN guidelines during and after the internship, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the impartial nature of the UN 🚫.
