Job Description
The Programme Officer plays a crucial role in supporting peacebuilding initiatives, particularly for Spanish-speaking countries, by overseeing the allocation of resources from the Peacebuilding Fund (PBF). Working under the Chief of the Financing for Peacebuilding Branch, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate programmes, ensuring they effectively address peacebuilding challenges. Your responsibilities include monitoring progress, conducting workshops, analyzing data, preparing reports, and leading field missions. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and at least seven years of experience in project management or related areas, preferably within the UN system.
