Job Description
As a Result of Service, the individual contractor will assist Programme Officers at the UN Office for Partnerships in organizing events and campaigns, managing correspondence, invitations, logistics, and event planning. The role aims to enhance communications and advocacy efforts, especially focusing on initiatives like the Goals Lounge. This position is based in New York and is expected to last for 3-4 months. Key responsibilities include supporting administrative tasks related to communications, developing materials for events, prioritizing correspondence, researching and preparing background materials, organizing meetings, and facilitating speaker involvement. A first-level university degree in communication, journalism, or related fields is required, along with experience in event management and outreach materials development. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus. 🌍✉️
