Protection Legal Officer

Job Description

UNRWA is seeking a dedicated Protection Legal Officer to support the legal rights of Palestine refugees in Lebanon, including Palestine Refugees from Syria. In this role, you will engage with local authorities on legal matters, conduct outreach in refugee communities, and provide legal advice to beneficiaries on issues such as civil documentation and residency. You will also collaborate closely with the Legal Aid team, organize case reviews, and monitor legal trends affecting the community. A strong legal background with at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in refugee law and Lebanese regulations, is essential.
