Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional for the position of UNDRR-ECHO Project Caribbean Focal Point. In this home-based role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation of UNDRR and DP ECHO initiatives in the Caribbean region, collaborating with humanitarian, development, and disaster risk reduction partners. Your responsibilities will include coordinating project activities, engaging with national and regional authorities, and supporting the EU-LAC MOU efforts to enhance disaster preparedness and risk management. A master’s degree in disaster risk reduction or related fields, along with at least five years of relevant experience, is required. Fluency in English is a must, with Spanish and French as desirable skills.
