Job Description

We are seeking a consultant for a public budget assessment of disaster risk reduction (DRR) in six Central American countries: El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. This position will focus on analyzing public spending on DRR with an emphasis on anticipatory action and enhancing financing strategies as part of the Subregional DRR Financing Strategy. This home-based role will run from August 4, 2025, until February 28, 2026. The ideal candidate has a relevant university degree, at least nine years of experience in disaster risk financing, and fluency in Spanish.
