The Resident Coordinator in Malaysia is responsible for leading and coordinating the United Nations development activities not just in Malaysia, but also in Brunei and Singapore. This important role involves working collaboratively with government, civil society, and various partners to tackle sustainable development challenges and advance the 2030 Agenda š. The Resident Coordinator manages the UN country team, ensuring effective implementation of the UN Cooperation Framework and promoting an integrated approach to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) š±. With a strong focus on fostering partnerships and leveraging resources, the Resident Coordinator advocates for human rights, gender equality, and the inclusion of marginalized groups in development efforts. Experience in international leadership and a Masterās degree in relevant fields are essential š«.
