Job Description

Join the United Nations as an intern in the Office of the Under-Secretary-General, focusing on Strategic Planning within the Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) 🌍. Over a period of 3 to 6 months, you’ll engage in essential tasks that support security risk management and contribute to international peace and development. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a diverse environment, enhancing your skills while directly impacting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. While the position is unpaid, it allows for flexible arrangements, including in-person, remote, or hybrid options. Candidates should be enrolled in a graduate program or the final year of their undergraduate degree, possess strong computer skills, and have a passion for the UN’s mission. Fluency in English is essential, with knowledge of other UN languages being an asset.
