The Safer Cities Consultant will play a vital role in supporting the UN-Habitat initiative in São Gonçalo, Brazil, by collaborating closely with the Head of the Brazil Office and regional teams. Over a period of three months, the consultant will facilitate engaging community workshops and conduct thorough assessments of urban safety perceptions, focusing on inclusive and participatory methodologies. This position involves hands-on work in local communities, analyzing data, and developing actionable strategies to improve urban safety and align with sustainable development goals. Ideal candidates should have a background in social sciences, urban planning, or related fields, and must be fluent in Portuguese.
