Job Description

The Security Coordination Officer role is based in Geneva, Switzerland, within the Office of the Assistant Secretary-General of the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism (IIIM). This position involves managing security and safety for IIIM staff and operations, ensuring a secure environment for crucial investigative work related to serious international crimes in Syria since 2011. The Officer will liaise with various security services, develop and monitor security frameworks, and oversee safety measures, all while promoting a culture of teamwork and professionalism. A strong background in security management and relevant experience in high-risk international settings are required.
