Senior Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant position is based in the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children in New York π. This role involves a variety of administrative functions, including human resources management, budget assistance, and general administration, contributing to the vital mission of protecting children’s rights π. You will coordinate HR activities, prepare budget documentation, offer guidance to staff, and ensure the smooth operation of office functions π€. A high school diploma is required, along with ten years of relevant experience (or eight with a first-level university degree) in administrative services, finance, or related fields π. Fluency in English is necessary, and knowledge of another UN language is a plus π. This temporary post is for an initial period of six months, subject to fund availability and budget approval.
