Job Description
As a Senior Advisor for the Result of Service in the Cool Coalition under the UNEP India Office, you will play a vital role in advancing sustainable urban cooling efforts in India 🌍. Your responsibilities will include offering strategic and technical guidance on issues like extreme heat adaptation and passive cooling, advising governments on policy development, and leading training for senior officials 👩🏫. You will collaborate with the Cities Unit of the Mitigation Branch and implement projects in key cities such as Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra 🔧. A master’s degree or equivalent experience in related fields, along with 20 years of relevant work, is required. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of another UN language is a plus ✨.
