SENIOR HUMAN RIGHTS OFFICER (TJO)

Job Description

As a Senior Human Rights Officer for the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of HRMMU and ensuring effective human rights operations in Kyiv 🇺🇦. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic and operational guidance, overseeing human rights monitoring programs, managing daily operations, and fostering partnerships within and outside the UN 🌍. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in human rights, team management, and proven leadership skills, along with at least 10 years of experience. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is a plus. This position is temporary until December 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension ⏳.
