Job Description

We are looking for a qualified consultant to serve as a Result of Service in supporting the operationalization of subregional technical and scientific cooperation support centres, helping to strengthen the capabilities and collaboration of parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and its Protocols. This remote position, lasting seven months, involves conducting assessments, providing guidance, and developing recommendations to enhance the operational readiness of these centres in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organizational development, strategic planning, and program management, alongside experience in biodiversity and sustainable development. šŸŒšŸ’¼ Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus. Note: “Fluency equals a rating of “fluent” in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand) and “Knowledge of” equals a rating of “confident” in two of the four areas.” Travel may be required during this contract period.
