Job Description

As a consultant, you will provide essential technical expertise and administrative support to the Knowledge and Risk unit’s efforts in reducing mercury pollution while coordinating the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership initiatives 🌍. Your role will involve facilitating communication with partners, aiding research for technical assistance projects, maintaining the Partnership website, organizing webinars on pollution topics, and contributing to national action plans that address mercury and its impact on the environment 🌱. You should possess a Master’s degree related to environmental sciences, have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, and be fluent in English and French, with Spanish being a plus. This position is remote for 12 months and directly supports global environmental initiatives.
