Job Description

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is looking for an intern to join their Office for Asia and the Pacific (OAP) in Geneva, Switzerland, for a 6-month position. 🌍 The intern will support trade-related technical assistance projects, working directly with policymakers and SMEs to promote sustainable growth and employment opportunities, especially for women and youth. Responsibilities include conducting research on regional trade trends, helping prepare project documents, organizing meetings and events, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth project execution. Applicants should be in their final year of university or have recently graduated in fields like Economics, International Trade, or Business Administration and possess strong communication skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Chinese is a plus. 🚀 Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship is undertaken may be required to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization. Successful candidates should discuss their specific visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.
