Job Description

The Vehicle Technician position at the Transport Unit of the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan involves ensuring the operational effectiveness of UN-owned vehicles, including standard commercial and armored vehicles, based in Islamabad. In this role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while adhering to safety standards, utilizing specialized tools for a diverse range of tasks—from mechanical repairs to bodywork. A strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and client orientation is essential, alongside a technical or vocational certificate in automotive/mechanical engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and proficiency in English is a must. 🚗🔧🌍
