Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated contractor to support the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process focused on climate change adaptation within the Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services sector in Manama, Bahrain. Under the guidance of the TNA Coordinator, your role will involve assessing technology needs, preparing comprehensive reports, and facilitating stakeholder participation to address barriers and create an enabling environment for technology implementation. Your contributions will include a portfolio of prioritized technologies, a detailed TNA report, a Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework report, and a Technology Action Plan with actionable project ideas. This is a 21-month contract aimed at enhancing climate resilience and promoting sustainable development. 🌍🌱 Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in environmental management or climate-related fields and possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is essential, while Arabic language skills are a plus.
