The UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Bhutan is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for budget and finance, general administration, contract administration, and human resources management. In this role, you’ll assist in preparing financial proposals, monitor budgetary expenditures, draft correspondence, and coordinate administrative activities while ensuring compliance with UN rules. You will also engage in human resources processes, support procurement projects, and collaborate with various teams to enhance operational efficiency. Completion of High school diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant first-level university degree may be accepted in lieu of two years of required experience.
A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative services, finance, accounting, audit, human resources or related area is required. Work experience with an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system, such as Umoja or similar, is desirable. Work experience with the United Nations or similar international organization is desirable. One(1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable. Work experience in Microsoft Excel or functionally equivalent software is desirable.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage. NOTE: “Fluency equals a rating of “fluent” in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand) and ” Knowledge of equals a rating of’ confident” in two of the four areas.
