Job Description

The Associate Interpreter position is part of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Iran, based in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, you will provide essential translation and simultaneous interpretation services between English and Persian, while considering gender perspectives related to sensitive topics such as sexual and gender-based violence. Your work may involve participating in field missions and interpreting interviews with victims and witnesses, ensuring accurate and confidential handling of all communications. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in translation and interpretation, preferably within human rights contexts. An advanced degree in a relevant field is required, along with fluency in both English and Persian.
