Job Description

The consultant will play a key role in advancing UNEP’s efforts related to the ICCM Resolution V/9, focusing on the Global Framework on Chemicals 🌍. This position involves providing essential technical support for developing a high-level indicator that measures the global environmental burden from chemicals and waste, alongside contributing to various workstreams of the open-ended ad hoc group on measurability and indicators 🏗️. The role is based in Geneva, Switzerland, and is expected to last for 12 months. Candidates should have an advanced degree in a relevant field and at least five years of professional experience in sustainable development or related disciplines, with strong skills in data analysis and communication 📊. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other UN languages is a plus 🌐.
