Job Description

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a consultant for the position of alignment specialist to support the integration of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) in the Wider Caribbean Region with the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), the Cartagena Convention, and the SPAW Protocol. This home-based role will last for approximately 3.75 months and involves assessing the current status of NBSAPs, enhancing ecosystem-based management, and harmonizing environmental reporting. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, have at least 5 years of experience in change management or strategic planning, and possess strong analytical skills.
