The Chief Engineer position at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) in Juba involves overseeing the engineering section and reporting to the Chief of Service Delivery. You will apply your engineering expertise to develop procedures, manage complex construction projects, and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the mission’s infrastructure needs are met efficiently. Your role will include preparing budgets, monitoring project progress, and ensuring quality compliance while managing resources and staffing. A Master’s degree in a relevant field and substantial experience in engineering management, especially in high-stress environments, are essential.
