Civic space and Tech Team Intern
Job Description
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is seeking an intern for the Civic Space Unit in Geneva from September to December 2025 🌍. This opportunity will involve supporting initiatives to protect Human Rights Defenders, engaging in strategic civic space actions, monitoring trends, and amplifying the importance of civic participation within the UN framework. Ideal candidates are recent graduates or current students pursuing law, political science, international relations, or social sciences, with fluency in English (knowledge of another UN language is a plus) 🌐. Please note, interns are not financially compensated, and costs for travel and living arrangements are the responsibility of the intern or their sponsoring institution.
