Job Description

Join us as the Climate Policy and Energy Transition Advisor in Brasília, Brazil! 🌍 Your main role will be to provide strategic guidance and policy support for city-level fiscal vulnerability related to oil and gas royalties. You’ll engage with national stakeholders, conduct research and economic impact analyses, and coordinate projects that align energy transition pathways with national policies. This position also involves leading capacity-building initiatives and managing the Brazil-BOGA fund program with UNEP and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with additional experience in sustainable development or climate change policy. Fluency in Portuguese and English is necessary. We’re looking for strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across various organizations. 🚀
