Communication Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Communication Officer to support the UN Country Team in Juba, South Sudan, for a duration of 3 months (with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding). 🌍 This role involves enhancing population self-reliance and resilience while navigating the complexities of humanitarian needs, economic challenges, and political dynamics. You will create impactful communication products that promote food security, essential services, durable solutions, and rapid response actions, while fostering collaboration among UN agencies, NGOs, and local communities. Ideal candidates should have an advanced degree in Communications or a related field, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in digital communication tools. Strong storytelling and coordination skills are essential to deliver coherent messaging and ensure visibility for our initiatives. 📢 Fluency in written and oral English is required.
