Job Description

The consultant will develop essential manuals and tools aimed at strengthening the capacity and coordination of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) in Latin America and the Caribbean to effectively respond to humanitarian emergencies, especially those linked to environmental disasters. This role, which is home-based for four months, involves collaborating with OHCHR and RINDHCA, conducting consultations to gather insights, and producing practical resources that promote a rights-based approach. The ideal candidate should have a background in international development or related fields, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in emergency contexts. Proficiency in Spanish and working knowledge of English are required to facilitate effective communication. The consultancy offers a comprehensive fee structure, and consultants must arrange their health insurance during the contract. 🌍📄
