Job Description

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is seeking a full-time Consultant for a 12-month position in Washington DC to enhance relationships with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) like the World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank. This role involves conducting research and providing policy advocacy to ensure that DFI operations align with international human rights standards. You will be responsible for supporting various initiatives, including implementing key reports, addressing digital risks, and facilitating human rights due diligence around impactful DFI projects. An advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experience are required, along with fluency in English.
