Consultant for study to support the second assessment and review process under the Nagoya Protocol
Job Description
Join us as a Consultant to conduct a comprehensive study that explores the root causes behind the challenges of implementing the Nagoya Protocol and identifies ways to enhance its effectiveness, especially for developing countries. This role, which supports the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and its mission for sustainable development, will be home-based and last for five months. Your responsibilities include designing and carrying out targeted interviews, performing a desk review, and synthesizing findings into a final report. We’re looking for someone with a master’s degree in law, environmental science, or related fields, along with at least seven years of experience in policy or environmental issues.
