Consultant, study on the relationship between biodiversity and climate finance
Job Description
We are looking for a consultant to support the implementation of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity 🌍 by conducting a pivotal study on the interface between biodiversity and climate finance 💰. This six-month remote position involves creating a scoping paper and a comprehensive study to inform the Subsidiary Body on Implementation’s discussions and recommendations. Qualified candidates should hold an advanced degree in environmental management or related fields and have a minimum of seven years of experience in environmental policy and management 🌱. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other UN languages is a plus. This role will report to the Programme Management Officer and work closely with various stakeholders in the field. Travel may be required for meetings related to this initiative.
