Consultant, study on the relationship between debt sustainability and the implementation of the Convention
Job Description
As a consultant for the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), you will play a key role in shaping resource mobilization strategies through a study on debt sustainability and the Convention’s implementation. This remote, six-month position involves preparing a scoping paper, conducting desk reviews, and interviewing experts to inform the Subsidiary Body on Implementation’s recommendations. You should possess an advanced degree in economics, finance, or environmental policy, along with at least seven years of relevant experience, preferably at the international level. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of other UN official languages is a plus. 🌍✍️ Additionally, travel may be applicable to attend one of the meetings of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation.
