Job Description

The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) is seeking three experienced consultants to draft the GLO SIDS Thematic Report, focusing on integrated land and water management in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) across the Americas, Asia, and Africa. This role involves creating a comprehensive, high-quality report that demonstrates effective policies, investment opportunities, and management practices, while highlighting the importance of gender equality, youth engagement, and sustainable development aligned with global targets. You will work collaboratively to produce engaging content supported by empirical evidence and graphics, engaging with stakeholders through virtual consultations to finalize the report. This position is remote, with an expected duration from June 2025 to March 2026. 🌍✍️ Applicants should have an advanced degree and a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience. High proficiency in English is required, and familiarity with UNCCD processes is a plus.
