Disability Inclusion Consultant
Job Description
The Disability Inclusion Consultant will play a vital role in developing and implementing a comprehensive action plan for Disability Inclusion within the UN in Fiji, focusing on enhancing accessibility and support for individuals with disabilities. This role includes providing training, monitoring access audits, and facilitating partnerships with external stakeholders to strengthen the disability inclusion network. The consultant will report to the Head of Office, ensuring that all initiatives align with UN standards and are appropriately communicated to relevant groups. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor’s degree with additional experience preferred, especially for applicants who are People Living with Disabilities. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of another UN language is a plus. This position is based at the RCO Fiji Suva Office and spans from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026. šš¤
