Job Description

The Economic Affairs Officer position is part of the Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation Secretariat, within the Financing for Sustainable Development Office at the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). In this role, you will conduct economic and sector analyses related to international tax cooperation, develop databases, draft papers, and contribute to intergovernmental meetings. Your responsibilities will include identifying policy proposals, assisting in expert meetings, and preparing documentation for senior staff presentations. Applicants should have a Master’s degree in taxation, economics, law, or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience.
