Job Description

The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is seeking an Economic Affairs Officer for a temporary position based in the Regional Office for Africa in Nairobi for a duration of 6 months. 🌍 In this role, you will coordinate financing initiatives aimed at disaster risk reduction and resilient infrastructure while supporting Member States in developing effective financing strategies. 📊 You’ll engage with diverse partners, conduct training events, and analyze economic data to shape policies and drive action against disaster risks. The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree in economics or a related field and have at least five years of relevant experience. English fluency is a must, and knowledge of French is a plus.
