Job Description

The UN is seeking a Development Coordination Officer/Economist to assist in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from our office in Niamey, Niger. In this role, you’ll analyze economic data, provide strategic advice for SDG acceleration, and engage with various stakeholders to create partnerships that enhance economic transformation and financing for sustainable development. Collaborating with the UN Country Team and other partners, you’ll focus on creating innovative solutions and policies that promote inclusive growth and sustainability. This position requires a master’s degree in economics, fluency in English and French, and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
