Job Description
The Energy Expert will play a vital role in assisting Botswana in planning, measuring, and managing its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) for climate action. This position involves developing frameworks for greenhouse gas emissions projections, carrying out impact assessments, and establishing a system for regular data collection and management. By collaborating with key stakeholders, including UNEP Copenhagen Climate Center, the expert will focus on the Energy and Transport sectors to enhance transparency in climate initiatives and track progress effectively. This role can be performed remotely or from Gaborone, Botswana, over a duration of 10 months. 🌍🔋📊
