Job Description

The contractor for the position of national contractor will play a crucial role in supporting the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process focused on climate change adaptation in Kazakhstan’s agriculture sector, working under the guidance of UNEP-CCC 🌱. This part-time role involves assessing technology needs, preparing reports on priority technologies, and developing actionable plans to overcome barriers to technology deployment 📊. Key responsibilities include organizing stakeholder meetings, conducting analyses, and synthesizing information into reports that will aid in achieving national climate goals 🌍. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in environmental management or equivalent, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and fluency in Russian and English 📚.
