Job Description

We are looking for a skilled contractor to support the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process for climate change mitigation in Kazakhstan’s energy sector, working under the supervision of UNEP-CCC. Your role will involve assessing and prioritizing climate technologies and developing essential reports, including a portfolio of technologies, a Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework (BA&EF), and a Technology Action Plan (TAP). You’ll need to engage with various stakeholders through meetings and workshops, facilitating the adoption of innovative energy solutions while trying to overcome barriers to implementation. This part-time position is based in Astana, Kazakhstan, and requires a postgraduate degree in relevant fields, along with at least five years of experience in the energy sector. Fluency in Russian and English is essential for this role. 🌍⚡️✍️
