Expert – Energy Sector & Agriculture (Food Security) Sector

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated national contractor to assist in the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process focused on climate change mitigation in the Energy and Agriculture (Food Security) sectors in the Federated States of Micronesia. This role involves providing technical expertise to assess and prioritize technology needs, creating detailed reports, and organizing stakeholder meetings to ensure a collaborative approach. You’ll collaborate with various teams to identify barriers, develop comprehensive action plans, and contribute to policy briefs while utilizing best practices recommended by the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre. If you have a postgraduate degree in environmental management or a related field, at least five years of experience in climate mitigation, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you! 🌱🌍📊 You will be based in Palikir for this 20-month part-time assignment.
