Job Description
As a national consultant for Pakistan, you will play a key role in the ESCAP secretariat’s UNDA project aimed at empowering countries in Asia and the Pacific to adopt low carbon and resilient transport strategies 🚗💨. Your work will involve developing realistic policy scenarios, setting transport carbon emission reduction targets, and drafting a national implementation action plan 🌍✍️. With a focus on enhancing capacity and addressing gender equality, you will collaborate with various stakeholders and participate in discussions to ensure effective communication and project success. We seek candidates with an advanced degree in relevant fields and a minimum of 15 years of experience in transport, energy, and climate change policies. Proficiency in English and exceptional writing skills are essential for this role. This position is based in Bangkok and is expected to last from July 15, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
