Job Description

The Political Affairs Officer will work under the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General on Myanmar, currently based in Bangkok. Reporting to the Head of Office, this role involves monitoring the political landscape in Myanmar, analyzing trends, and providing timely recommendations to support the UN’s mandate for Myanmar. Additionally, the officer will prepare reports, draft communications for senior officials, coordinate with various organizations, and contribute to data analysis for informed decision-making. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s degree in relevant fields, at least seven years of related experience, and fluency in English, with knowledge of another UN language being a plus. 🚀🌍
